JURIST ACADEMIA is an academic journal published by the Bolaang Mongondow Raya Legal Aid Foundation (YLBH BMR), a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing legal assistance for the poor and marginalized. This journal aims to expand and deepen legal discourse through interdisciplinary perspectives, focusing on issues of social justice, legal reform, and the development of responsive legal theories and practices rooted in societal realities.
Established as an open academic platform, JURIST ACADEMIA welcomes contributions from scholars, legal practitioners, and students to explore contemporary legal issues impacting national and international legal systems. With a vision to become a leading journal in inclusive and transformative legal studies, it encourages the publication of scholarly works that bridge theoretical analysis and practical legal application, especially in advancing justice for vulnerable communities.
Publication Frequency
JURIST ACADEMIA was established in 2025. The inaugural issue (Volume 1, Number 1) was published in August 2025, followed by the second issue scheduled for December 2025.
Starting from Volume 2 (2026), JURIST ACADEMIA will adopt a biannual publication schedule, with issues published in June and December each year. This adjustment is part of the journal’s long-term development plan to ensure consistent publication timelines, rigorous peer review, and high academic standards.
