Publication Ethics

JURIST ACADEMIA adheres to high standards of academic integrity and follows the ethical guidelines recommended by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). These ethics apply to authors, editors, reviewers, and the journal’s management.

1. Authors’ Responsibilities

  • Ensure the originality of the manuscript and avoid plagiarism.
  • Avoid multiple or simultaneous submissions to other journals.
  • Present data truthfully and without fabrication or manipulation.
  • Properly cite all sources and references used.
  • Disclose any conflicts of interest, if any.

2. Editors’ Responsibilities

  • Ensure that editorial decisions are made fairly, objectively, and promptly.
  • Maintain confidentiality of submitted manuscripts.
  • Avoid conflicts of interest in handling manuscripts.
  • Make publication decisions based solely on the manuscript’s quality and relevance.

3. Reviewers’ Responsibilities

  • Provide objective, constructive, and confidential reviews.
  • Do not misuse or disclose the content of submitted manuscripts.
  • Provide feedback honestly and in a timely manner.
  • Disclose any potential conflicts of interest.

4. Publisher’s Responsibilities (YLBH BMR)

  • Ensure editorial independence and uphold academic freedom.
  • Support journal sustainability and open access to content.
  • Handle ethical violations professionally and transparently.

If any violation of these ethical guidelines is identified, JURIST ACADEMIA reserves the right to take appropriate action, including retraction of the article and notification to the author’s affiliated institution.
